Mimi O’Carroll returns to spin some crazy tunes to liven up your Sunday night. Plus we’ve got a newly installed draught Guinness line, a new Jameson Cocktail and perhaps some Colcannon. There may even be some silly Guinness hats somewhere but you’ll probably have to go find those yourself. 7-10pm, all welcome.
Opening night for the first show of paintings and prints by Dingus Hussey @graffikviolenz

It seems like only yesterday that the doors were flung open and we started flogging pizzas for cash, but 12 months have passed and somehow, we are still here. Now there are no pizzas and we graciously accept card payments, and much has changed in the time we've occupied at 59 Chatsworth, but we feel like that is cause for celebration.
So we cordially invite you all to our first birthday and end-of-summer party. Don’t put your summer shirts back in the wardrobe just yet, as the theme is Tiki & Hawaiian. There will be a BBQ, brand new sharing cocktails in Crystal Head skulls, and complimentary Havana Club Cocktails and Hobo Lager.
We ask all our customers past and present, as well those who haven't been down yet, to pop in and share a drink with us.

Join FORDS GIN at JIM'S CAFE, CLAPTON for a cocktail odyssey through the ages whilst sipping on the very cocktails that forged gin’s rich history.
Gin and cocktails have been close bedfellows throughout history. Holding hands through the ages, their connection has endured the ebb and flow of drinking trends. From the early days of gin punch, to the current Golden Age of the Cocktail, the rise and fall of gin and cocktails has been intertwined through history.
Today, gin enjoys unparalleled popularity in the great cocktail bars of the world and no self-respecting bar would fail to give over some of their menu space to juniper-driven concoctions. Today gin enjoys a relationship with more classic cocktails than any other spirit, some receiving just a fleeting moment of fame, others enduring timelessly. The history of these drinks charts a rich course through the gin years, one which we look forward to sharing with you.

Seeing as it’s nearly a year since the last night at the Lock Up, it’s about time for a party… so Black Skulls London has teamed up with the Camber Castle Pub to bring you the first ever Show Off By The Sea!
Kicking off on Saturday 28th April, bikes, BBQ’s and bands will take over Camber Sands for one day and night of riding and partying on the south coast. The team from Jim’s Café will be on hand to serve up amazing BBQ dishes from breakfast until late alongside some of the bar’s best loved cocktails and a few specials for the occasion.
Head down from 10am for a ride out to Dungeness (timings TBC), disco bingo with the lovely ladies from Blondies and tarot card readings with Mickey Ashton, plus DJ’s throughout the day.
For those travelling down on two wheels, there will be a ride out leaving Jim’s Café on Saturday morning to take the scenic route down to Camber – further details will be available soon.
Unfortunately there’s no accommodation available on site so we’ve scouted out a selection of accommodation options walking distance from the venue, it’s worth booking soon though as options are limited!
